You may have heard of a thing called FRIENDZY. We are an idea, we are a zine, and you can be part of it. This is the theory: we all write things, or draw things, or make banana cakes, or rant about avatar/ lady gaga/ tony abbott in a mostly coherent and entertaining manner. so i thought it would be a pretty nice idea to see if we could FULLY TAP THAT CREATIVE GOODNESS in the form of a friend-zine.
We have a first issue! It worked out pretty damn well. (And if you want to read or have a copy, I have some lying around, lazing on various surfaces like (beautiful) floozies). And so we had a party.
BUT THEN, A bunch of people who didn’t send stuff to me in time have been asking when the second issue going to be put together. SO. The next one will happen pretty much as soon as I have enough stuff to fill a next one. And so with the third, and so forth. But don’t be lazy about it, eh! Email me at astronomical@gmail.com with things OR hand things to me in person at my house/ haunts. You can send me ANYTHING that can possibly be contained and distributed inside of an A5 booklet, including comics, short stories, poems, drawings, recipes, photographs, thoughts / observations / inspiration / musings / rants, short essays, songs, album or exhibition or theatre reviews, interviews, manifestos, pieces of guitars, cross-stitching, pop-up stories, a shameless plug for your band, how-to guides, musical scores, maps, calligraphy, toast.
Also. In the works is a separate project, basically a multimedia DVD edition for your films and musics. This is half full at the moment. Ambitious? Or AMAZING?!
